He never made eye contact with me, he did ask about how I was but brushed it off quickly, he asked me what I ate that day which admittedly was unhealthy but at least I kept it down. Then lectured me on home cooked meals and all the bad things that can happen to my baby because I ate a corndog before I came. I struggle with weight because of my PCOS and that was the worst I have felt leaving an appointment in a long time. Before I could gather myself to ask him any other questions he was gone.

I will never see this provider again! If he is the only one I can see I will drive a 100 miles or more to get away from seeing this provider again!

Dr.Hamner, did not listen to anything I was trying to tell him. My husband and I have been married for 23 years and I have never had pain before. I had been waiting a long time, but I don't mind waiting. When the doctor come in see me, I expect him to listen to my concerns and be knowledgeable about why I'm here. I've been going to this clinic for a long time and this Is the second time I saw him, so I was very surprised when I did. I'm still In pain and he said, Its my husband fault.

He spoke so quickly that it was hard to get a word in sometimes. He asked me who signed off on me getting my IUD, when I had spoken with my normal provider about doing the nonhormonal option, signed the papers, and got approved. He cut me off before I could explain. I felt like even though he was describing the procedure throughout, he was abrasive and kept telling me if the pain was too much, we could stop. This made me feel worried, like the procedure was going to be much more painful than it was.

Hamner was very "to the point ". It was my first time meeting him and he didn't even look at me until the end of the appointment. He TOLD me he was scheduling a c-section ,but didn't know much of my history to know I want a VBAC. He didn't have any bedside manners.

He is a professional in what he does but I did not like his little kindness and disinterest, when he did not speak to me even in front of me or with due compassion, all very routine, when I consulted him after a miscarriage I expected a little more empathy.
