I have been a patient of Dr. Mahootchi's for more than ten years. I have glaucoma and did have type 2 diabetes . I have had crystal lens replacement (life-changing and awesome), two vitrectomies, procedures to reduce pressure, and Iris repair following retinal surgery by a wonderful colleague of Dr. Mahootchi's. I trust him implicitly. He always clearly explains what he is doing and why. He and his staff are professional and very caring. There is no one else I would trust with my eyes.

The surgery went well. It was wonderful. It went better than expected. After a day or two I could see more clearly. My eyelids were out of the way and I didn't have any pain at all. It was very unexpected, I thought it would have been painful, but I had no pain.

When I first was recommended to Dr. Mahootchi, my eyes were so red and sore it felt like I had sand in them all the time. I used to use TheraTears, constantly putting them all day without relief. I searched for 2 years for a diagnosis for my facial spasms. I was referred to Dr. Mahootchi in 2007. Upon my first visit I received a diagnosis and started receiving treatment with BOTOX. I have returned every 3 months since and my spasms are well controlled.

After being referred to Dr. Mahootchi's office by a dear friend, I discovered my insurance didn't cover his services. However, his acumen and insight literally saved my vision. After several tests it became clear that the vision issue was the result of a long standing medication I had been taking. No other doctor was astute enough to arrive at this conclusion. As we work with medication prescribing doctor, my vision continues to improve. The gift of sight was well worth any out of pocket cost.

After being referred to Dr. Mahootchi's office by a dear friend, I discovered my insurance didn't cover his services. However, his acumen and insight literally saved my vision. After several tests it became clear that the vision issue was the result of a long standing medication I had been taking. No other doctor was astute enough to arrive at this conclusion. As we work with medication prescribing doctor, my vision continues to improve. The gift of sight was well worth any out of pocket cost.

Dr. Mahootchi performed Lasik Surgery on me 2 years ago. Before having this procedure done, everything was explained to me in detail and I could tell that he truly cared about the outcome of the surgery. Before having the surgery I was completely dependent on glasses and I couldn't even see the big "E", the alarm clock that was a foot away, or the hair on my legs when I needed to shave. After the surgery I am seeing 20/20 and life is so much easier now that I don't have to depend on my glasses. ...
