“Very informative and helpful”
The first time I came to this office I was very impressed. Dr Jacob( that is what I call him) took the time to answer all my questions and concerns as well as explaining everything involved with my surgery. I was there around on hour the first time and I didn’t seem or he didn’t seem rushed. The website is also very helpful and explains everything. Northside hospital is very good also, the combination is the best. I highly recommend this practice.

He educated me on what was to come and what to do. If you stick to his orders you will have the best experience. So far I have no regrets and I'm losing weight.

On June 13th, 2024, I learned that my colon had ruptured from diverticulitis and would need emergency surgery. At the time Dr. Alexander Gonzalez-Jacobo was the surgeon on call for that day. Over the next few hours it was decided to wait and see how my body would recover so I would not end up with a colostomy bag at my young age. 12 weeks later I would need surgery which I knew based on my treatment plan that was clearly explained to me. The doctors at BMI are great! I will not go anywhere else

it was an excellent experience as well as very thorough and they worked very fast in making those necessary appointments that I need in order to fulfill the medical obligations to get to the point of having the surgery as well as working with Medicare to make sure that I get approved

I was nervous about this surgery and it took me two years to finally go through with it.! This was my first time coming to this office of BMI surgical and talking to Dr. Jacobo.! He made me feel welcomed and encouraged to go forward with this, he was understanding to my background and mindset and always gave me positive advice.! Two months out and I’m 60lbs down.! I’ve had a handful of good days and a few adjustments and yet after two months he’s still making sure his patients are good.! Truly happy and thankful for this new family at BMI…! Also a big thank you to CLarisa and Mrs. Christine amazing people

I was so scare to get the gastric sleeve but the Dr. Alexander answered all my questions! It’s been quite a journey! But the staff and him have been very supportive and helpful. Estaba muy nerviosa de hacerme la manga gastrica pero el Dr Alexander ha respondido todas mis preguntas, ha sido un proceso!! Pero el equipo y el me han ayudado y apoyado en todo. El Dr habla español y eso también es un plus!!
