“Worst Ever! Go somewhere else!”
It was the worst experience I had with a Doctor. I have Insurance, and called her for an appointment. I got in right away, and understand the reason why now! The reception was cold with the front desk and with Dr Amy C. Roskin. They showed no Empathy, or had NO care in the world about the patient; Just Money! I gave them my insurance card, and still was charged for paps smear Check Up! This is Allegedly free with my provider. I was asked if there was any concerns, and I said "Maybe!" I have been feeling this way, but I am not sure? They automatically took it as a Diagnostic test, go here and there to all these places to get blood done and tests done, but never found out "How" I did on my paps smear visit. Charged me initially of $130.00. I asked why, and the reception said it doesn't cover anything? When I was done, Before I could go to the back of the reception desk to get information, The doctor, (AMY) was raddeling off what the steps were to do. I wasn't sure what the heck she was talking about, and she blew me off! The reception covered for her, and said, this is where to go, here is a map, and what time for the next visit. Confused as hell, as I felt like I was in a twilight zone, I continued asking the reception what and where and why? No one was able to have answers. Now I have a bill on top of the $130.00 I paid, and called my provider to ask: What happened? Was told it was never submitted as paps smear; straight to diagnostic. I said to my provider; it was yearly check up, and I never went to do anything, as I cancelled; until I knew about results of paps smear. She told me to call the office to change it to routine yearly check up; so I did! This was a Thursday, and was told I would get a call on Monday! Monday came and went; No Call!
If this is the way Dr Amy C. Roskin runs her office; Go to another person who cares enough to take time: rather an Assembly line as a product and Greed!
