I just moved to this area and selected Dr. Securo to treat my depression. I told him I am on Paxil from my previous Dr. and it helps, but I still get very depressed at different times. He suggested I try Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) rather than selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or(SSRIs). This made sense to me until he told me I needed to take a pain med. with it. I told him I was not in pain and asked why I need a pain med.? He said it will numb me and help me to forget abou...Original review on DoctorsDig.com
This Dr. has no bedside manner at all. He seemed mad as hell as soon as he entered the room. I have noticed other negative reviews about Dr. Securo, and now I know why. I went in for treatment for my depression, only to leave more depressed. He discussed my meds., and suggested I switch to an anti-anxiety med. like valium. I did't think this would help because I was on this before and tryed to explain this to him. He shouted at me and said "ARE YOU A DR."? "NO, SO DO WHAT THE HELL YOU WANT...

I went to Dr. Securo at Valley. He is the first doctor that was able to help me lose weight and now my high bp, cholesterol and diabetes is under control. I lost 60 lbs and have never felt better! He taught me how to change my lifestyle instead of dieting and explained things so I could understand.

I went to see this Dr. for a sprained ankle that had some swelling. The Dr. immediately insisted I need Oxycontin 80mg. and nothing else would do. I told him that I was not in that much pain, and really did not want to spend too much money on pain medication. He became extremely irate and told me: "Why the hell did you come here if you want to stay in pain", he then threw his hands up in the air and walked out of the office cussing. No excuse for this kind of bizarre and unprofessional behav...

I did not have a good experience at all with Dr. Securo. I just went in for a physical and it was a complete disaster. He was very quick with me and would not allow me enough time to ask any questions. I found him to be very unprofessional and inexperienced. The worst was his overall conduct towards me. He was extremely rude and had no patience. I just tried to tell him about my neck pain and he rudely told me "Get an x-ray" in a loud manner. I did not feel comfortable at all around this ...
