Dr Melnyk is one of the worst physicians I have ever encountered. My father was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer and Dr. Melnyk refused to give him a prognosis. He did promise that with chemo he could extend his life. We proceeded with chemotherapy and nine days later he died. If we had know that he had such limited time, we never would have taken chemo and possibly had him live a bit longer.
