Accepted Insurance

Los Altos Neurology is an Out-of-Network (PPO) practice that accepts original Medicare. We are NOT contracted with any commercial insurance plans. We are an out-of-network practice because the business model necessary for an in-network practice to survive rarely allows for the high-level care we insist upon giving our patients. As an out-of-network practice, we are not subject to the rules imposed on your care by insurance companies that can negatively impact you as a patient. Being an in-network provider binds Doctors to work within the confines of the insurance contractual requirements regardless of the patients’ needs or our expertise and discretion to act in the best interest of our patients.
