Outstanding customer experience. I found the reservation process to be intuitive, clear, and simple. The visit preparation was as expected, attentive but not much of a burden. The appointment was on-time, the doctor was patient with listening to me speak without interrupting or anything surprising. I got clear and directly helpful feedback, I was able to pay easily on the phone, and I got a paper card that I can use while we were still on the phone call - all exactly how I would hope a modern medical visit would be. A joyful experience, and I look forward to coming back and will recommend others to come too.

I am glad that I came to CED. Wish I had before. I have been in the Mass Medical Program for a few years, and I bounced between whatever "doc" was cheapest. I fumbled my way through whatever seemed to work for me, with next to no guidance. After a 10-minute phone call at CED (COVID-friendly certifications), I had more direction than I experienced in 4 years. I spoke with Dr Caplan. He explained the process, most of which I knew, and then made some suggestions for ways that I could better control my own success with products. Although I knew some of what we were talking about, he was clearly listening and adapted his suggestions to my level of experience. I was surprised to learn that CED has tons of info online to read more, and the whole process is zero pressure. I'll be back!

“Whew! COVID cool, socially-distanced office!”

Awesome experience. Huge parking lot was a pleasant surprise. Nearby my regular doctor at the Brigham & Women's Building, and the CED office is huge. Lots of space was so reassuring. There was nobody else in the waiting room when I came in (smelled like it had just been cleaned with bleach), and I was seen right away. I sat in a comfortable blue seat with 10 feet between me and the doctor's chair, with 10 feet of space on either side of me too.. Both the doctor and I still wore masks, and the entire process was easy, felt safe, and totally reassuring. The doctor sent all the information I needed over email, so I didn't have to touch anything. The visit itself was very educational. The doctor clearly knows a ton and was happy to explain and answer all my questions. I also love that I feel like the process is intended to help me feel in control over my own care, and I never felt like I was being told what to do. Refreshing change of pace! I will be bringing my elderly parents too!

I am new to the medical marijuana scene, but not new to cannabis. I've been using weed for years, from friends to dealers to the recreational market. I use it for pain, stress, lousy sleep, and just for fun. Given the recent changes in the Massachusetts market, it just made sense for me to get a card, in terms of cost savings, access, and delivery, which totally favor the medical market. I wish I had come years ago.

Just wanted to say I had a great experience with telemedicine. I am new to CED Clinic, and read other positive reviews. I had some doubts, but I gotta say, they were spot on. The call was a little late, but it is obviously because CED Clinic is super busy. I first spoke to a lady who was kind, respectful, and informative, and then I spoke with the doctor who had clearly read all of the stuff I wrote down on the form. It felt like a regular doctor visit, kind of, except brief and to the point. We didn't have to spend all day on the phone, we talked about the good stuff, and he asked about medicines and bad experiences in the past, like all my doctors do. Seemed pretty awesome to do on the phone.

“Incredible Experience, and COVID clean!”

I have crippling anxiety. I reserved the first appointment I could to make sure I didn't come into contact with anyone else (by the way, awesome easy online reservations) and I stumbled on the staff, spaced way apart from each other, cleaning all of the surfaces with what smelled like bleach. What a refreshing site to see!

The visit was spectacular. I met with Dr Caplan and his office is enormous, well-lit with sunlight and clean air, and he has clearly made the office layout to accommodate COVID-19, because the patient chair(s) are comfortably spaced 10 feet from his chair. His office was impeccably neat, and I didn't see even a spec of dust. SO reassuring.

Deserves 10-stars for being open in a crisis like this, and 20 stars for doing so much to make us all safer!

“Wonderful introduction to medical marijuana”

This week was my first time exploring medical marijuana. I have been exposed to it in social circles, but never participated, because I had the idea it was potentially harmful. Doing my own research, I slowly felt more comfortable about approaching the Massachusetts program, and I am thrilled to have randomly found Dr Caplan. The visit was incredibly comfortable. It was slow and felt ok for me to ask the long list of questions that I came with, and I learned more than could have imagined. Dr Caplan clearly cares about his work and his patients. His passion is abundant and wonderful. I look forward to learning even more, and I am optimistic about this approach for my medical problems.

What a remarkable clinic! The staff and doctor were so kind and inviting, there was a warm atmosphere that I was surprised to find felt, smelled, and looked like a luxurious regular office space! No weed smell, no intoxicated staff, only medical magazines, the usual medical history forms, and medical discussions of health-related concerns and treatment options. Super informative, and again, a very pleasant ambiance.

I'm a college student, and I hate drinking. And I hate stress. Cannabis has been an outlet for me, and before today, I had no idea how silly my approach was. I was paying way more for products on the recreational side than I need to be paying, and I was basically lost with what would be helpful anyway. I met with Dr Caplan, talked about the things I've been dealing with, and we reviewed a bookshelf of different choices and the advantages of all of the different products. Awesome!

I had a very good experience today. CED Clinic was open today, a Saturday, and I was thrilled because I can't ever make it to visits during the week. The office was fairly busy, but I was seen within 10 minutes of showing up. Nice music, good cold drinks and some snacks, and lots of reading material. Doc was welcoming, kind, and a great listener. I took way too much time, but he was kind and patient and let me finish without ever making me feel hurried. What an experience! Definitely coming again soon.

Today was my first visit to CED Clinic, and the first time I met Dr Caplan. I had an excellent time. Pleasant office, plenty of parking, a selection of refreshments while I waited with some quiet music and appropriate lighting. I wish there was more artwork on the walls, but that is to be expected from a busy clinic. I would feel very comfortable referring friends and family here.

I was a bit uncomfortable about cannabis before coming in today. I didn't know very much, and what I did think I know was probably 20 years out of date. Nevertheless, I'd heard some great things about CED clinic, so I decided to scope it out. Rumors are true - the experience was simple, modern, efficient, and incredibly educational and rewarding. I appreciate the clinic's focus on information and empowering me as a consumer instead of the usual doctor-talks-down mumbo jumbo. I feel like I'm in control, and it seems like they are doing everything they can to help me feel that way - what a nice change!

“Canna cures me”

I was diagnosed with a terminal cancer three years ago, and although I've been told I'm "about to die" many times, what has kept me going through the whole ordeal is cannabis. Not because I have any illusion that it is curing my cancer, but because it has made the quality of my daily life that much more enjoyable. Sometimes it helps me want to eat, other days it brings a smile to my face, and most days, it has helped me feel less worried and sleep better, if not through the whole night. We live in a culture war with marijuana that is totally illegitimate and unfair to those of us who have suffered. I feel so lucky to have found Dr Caplan and to have found medical cannabis.

Office is luxurious, corner office in a well-lit, pristine modern building. Exquisitely professional appearance and feel with no weed smell, no weed pictures or anything unsavory. As any doctor office, magazines to read and educational material about marijuana and the Mass program. A few clean glass display cases with medical supplies and fake products as demonstrations of the kind of materials one can purchase. The visit was 25 minutes, covering medical history and risks/benefits for my conditions and expectations. I was given clear instructions and Dr Caplan make the process simple and easy for me. “Different than I expected!”

I grew up believing that marijuana was bad, or a stepping stone to crack/heroin etc. So naturally it was tough for me to take the step of getting into the medical program. I was worried my name would be on some database or that it would affect my job or insurance or whatever. I've learned now that none of this is a real worry. The MA program is private and secure. Even my own doctor didn't know before I told her. Also, I never knew there was marijuana you could consume that didn't make you feel high at all. Even more, smoking is no where near the only choice - the opposite is actually true. All in all, it has been a wonderful experience for my husband and I. I still feel weird/guilty a little, but I have considerably less pain, and my daily life is much better than I expected.

I think Dr Caplan is one of the most down-to-earth doctors. I brought my ailing mother to see him, and my son sees him as well. I recommend him 100%, and without a second thought.

“Wonderful Experience - Outstanding Doc”

I was referred to CED Clinic by friends who have had good experiences. I came to Dr Caplan with many questions and zero personal experience with cannabis. I booked online with a simple web-based booking tool, and completed a lengthy, though straight-forward survey about myself and my experience. I was sent directions automatically that were clear and helpful, and I received an automatic visit reminder the day before my appointment. I came in a little early, and I received a warm welcome from a kind young receptionist who offered me bottled water and a small snack. I was surprised to find that the doctor was running on time, and even saw me earlier than my appointment was scheduled. The visit was booked for 20 minutes, but lasted for 40. Dr Caplan was warm, easy to talk to, and incredibly knowledgable. He clearly and thoroughly outlined the process and expectations, personalized to my needs. All of my questions were answered. I feel well-prepared for this new treatment path.

I am totally impressed with my experience. I'm new to medical cannabis, although long-time recreational users. With Coronavirus, everything shut down, and I finally decided to go medical. My visit with Dr Caplan was easy. I filled out a long survey ahead of time that included history and my experience with marijuana, and then the doctor called me at my appointment time. We talked for a little while (basically confirming what I wrote) and talked about some ideas that he thought would help and that was it. “One of a kind medical experience”

I had a delightful office visit today with Dr Caplan. It was a bit of a long drive for me, but thankfully no traffic. There is a large open parking lot with plenty of spaces (although not covered.) The building is handicap accessible with a ramp and an elevator that was perfect for me to use. The bathrooms are neat, clean, smell pristine (it's important) and the office itself is spacious, well-lit, and has no odor at all. The temperature was ideal, the air was clean and wonderful to breathe without any smells (no marijuana smell in the least!) The visit was lengthy, educational, respectful, and completely professional. I am impressed, top to bottom. I will be recommending the CED Clinic highly and widely. Thank you, CED Clinic!

“Interesting experience”

Before this week, I had never heard of a real marijuana doctor. I lived in California and Colorado, and I knew all of the turn-key pot-docs that couldn't care less, but I had NO IDEA how much science there was to weed. I am fully blown away by the amount of information there is to learn and understand. The doctor and I talked for about 30 minutes, and I probably understood like 50% of it, but I am so pumped that this door is open, i can't even explain it. Mind is blown.

I came last week with my mother who is 89 years old. The office has handicap access and an elevator, so that was smooth and easy, and the entire experience only improved from there. We were delighted to meet Dr Caplan and his staff, and everyone was gracious and kind and supportive and patient. Booking was easy, directions too. Staff was warm and friendly. Fridge with water and snacks was welcoming and thoughtful. It's a lot of information more than I expected, but definitely explains why CED costs a bit more than some of the other shops. Doctor clearly knows his stuff, and wants to help. I'll be back!

I am a long-time patient of Dr Caplan, but took some down-time away from marijuana for a few months. My concerns are difficulty sleeping, anxiety, and I tend to de-stress by drinking too much alcohol. I took some time away to make sure I was not getting addicted. I did feel uncomfortable, but never felt like I lost control or "needed" to come back to cannabis. Truth is, I want to. It has made my suffering less, and my quality of life better. I'm glad I tested this out for myself, but I'm even more glad I'm back here.

I'm grateful for Dr Caplan's central role in my transformation, but it was really the cannabis that changed my life for the better. Dr Caplan taught me what I needed to know, supportively in the most gentle way, and I slowly let my guard down about cannabis tinctures, topicals, and even vaporization. After my second year, I can honestly say I am a completely different person. I feel a sense of community and togetherness, I have a much better quality of life, and most importantly, I'm not in daily pain, or when I do have pain, it is not ruling my life anymore.

Dr Caplan is the 4th cannabis doc I've seen in MA, and I"ve seen a bunch more in California. I've never seen anyone else as informed and passionate about educating patients. “So much more to medical cannabis than I ever knew”

CED clinic is not the least expensive choice, and I was hesitant at first, because I didn't understand what added value there was to this kind of doctor, except to get the card. I had heard there was a Dr Tischler and a Dr Uma who charge much more, and I know of options that charge less than CED, but reading about Dr Caplan and the clinic helped me feel like this was the right choice. This is my health, and I want to treat it seriously, but I don't want to get ripped off either. After coming, this was definitely the right choice
