“I'm a Type 1 Diabetic and satisfied with Dr. Buonocore”
She is professional, up-to-date, and attentive to her patients' needs. I should know, i've been going there for over 10 years. There was only one problem I had, and it was with a member of her staff who didn't send an authorization to the insurance co. for a larger than typical amount of test strips being prescribed; the ins. carrier needs an authorization, and she didn't send it. But that was resolved. Other than that, Dr. Buonocore is an excellent doctor with a very helpful staff.
I saw Dr. Buonocore for my brittle Type 1 Diabetes and Celiac Disease. I am also a survivor from a automobile accident in which I broke my back in half, crushed my chest and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury which has left me disabled. I saw Dr. Buonocore for almost 9 years but over the last 2 and 1/2 years her care has fallen drastically. She put me on an antidepressant without explaining what if was and what side effects it may produce. It almost put me to the brink of committing suicide. She denies not telling me what she was doing. I went as far as filing a formal complaint with the Pennsylvania office of Professional Licensing and she will now be watched. Her attitude since that terrible day when dealing with me has slowly deteriorated to the point that I cannot see her anymore without and ease. She has taken the position that she is up front with her patients and that she is incapable of making mistakes. I am now in a Mental Hospital just trying to get my thoughts and life back together again. Other doctors in the medical field have told me that she should have been more cautious in how she handled my care. All I had asked from her was to help me in the control of my Diabetes and to monitor my Celiac disease. For these requests I am now left a broken man.
“Uncaring and Unprofessional”
