I requested zero pain killers and narcotics. The moment I left the OR, I had ZERO pain. I have not had one ounce of pain the entire time. My shoulder was as bad as they get. I had a full anatomical replacement with reattaching my labrum, long biceps, scapular tendon and repaired 3 of 4 rotator cuffs. A major surgery. The only treatment I used was the polar ice machine. The thing i loved most about the Polar ice machine was that it packed and held my shoulder in place, while icing it. it definitely helped with healing and immobilizing my shoulder.

I waited 14 years to do this because of the nightmare stories of shoulder surgery.

If you have a shoulder in need of repair, DO NOT wait, get it repaired for your quality of life.

But, DO NOT have it repaired by anyone but Dr. Dan Guttmann.
