Dr. Gentile figured out my health issues in one week. This was after a year of seeing 3 other doctors/neurologists. Dr. Gentile figured out that it was Lyme. The other doctors tested for Lyme but they did not understand the bands that make up Lyme. I have kept Gentile as my primary doctor. Please do not waste your time with others. This man truly cares about you and will always look outside the box when necessary. He's a great man and deserves credit.

My first experience with Telemedicine was with Dr. David Gentile’s office in Rocky Point. He went above and beyond to make me feel that my care and recovery was of his utmost importance. I had been diagnosed with Covid19 and after 7 days I developed double pneumonia. I already have a compromised respiratory system so one can understand my obvious fear was the hospital and a ventilator. I called Dr. Gentiles office and within an hour had my first telemedicine visit. He assessed my condition based on my symptoms and immediately put me on nutraceutical medicines (overnighted them to my house) in addition to the pharmaceuticals I was already taking. Dr. Gentile monitored my progress by calling twice a day until my oxygen level increased and my fever reduced. At one point, I did overhear Dr. Gentile tell my brother he was encouraged by my progress, but they couldn’t be heroes so if there was a dramatic change in my oxygen level or increase in fever to call 911. Well, that became an untrue

Prior to being treated by Dr. Gentile I thought I would be living out the rest of my life as a cripple. I have suffered from Fibromyalgia since 1993 and it got progressively worse. By 2013, at the age of 62 , I had to retire because I could not function due to pain and the medications I was being prescribed were making me unable to function , mentally. In fact, I fell asleep behind the wheel and had a car accident. I spent most of my life in bed and withdrew from life completely. After retiring I saw an interview on Channel 12 in which Dr. Gentile spoke about "out of the box" treatments for chronic pain.I went to see him and he promised we would keep looking until we found some improvement, if not a solution to my problem. It is now 6 years later, I am feeling at least 10 years younger than when I first saw Dr. Gentile.I am excercising, going up and down stairs with no problem, helping some of my older friends who are unable to care for themselves and enjoying my grandchildren.

After retiring I saw an interview on Channel 12 in which Dr. Gentile spoke about "out of the box" treatments for chronic pain.I went to see him and he promised we would keep looking until we found some improvement, if not a solution to my problem.
