“What Happened to This Place?!”
I don't know what happened to this place. It was top notch in healthcare and professionalism! I've been a patient there a long time (10+ years) and have noticed a SIGNIFICANT decline in the last 3 years. First, be prepared to talk to someone on the phone isn't the brightest crayon in the box. They may or may not get your appt correct. You'll know when you show up and they weren't expecting you until a different day, despite you writing it directly on your calendar at the time of the conversation. The peak of your visit will be with the Dr; excellent care. Then you'll have to return the front desk and interrupt the staff gossiping or checking their phones to actually pay for your visit and setup another appt. (TIP: If you're there in the evening just call back during the day and speak with the day staff they are much more competent). Wait! it get's better. If you have insurance please make sure you know every single possible thing about it, because if you have ANY questions the girls have no idea. Apparently they have no idea how to obtain such information either (see before mentioned tip). Need your glasses adjusted? No problem, they have a staff member who can help you (she's already at the front desk socializing w the rest of the staff about what they are doing that upcoming weekend) so she tugs at them on my face and says "they are good." WHAT!? I haven't been there for a checkup in a YEAR; why doesn't she offer to tighten the screws or check the nose pads?! Ugh. Then I leave, totally annoyed. I am SO annoyed I call and request my patient history. I'm told I'll have it in a week no I don't need to pick it up. Week goes by. Nothing. Call again (during the day) told oops by next week. Next week is here, nothing. Then I go there, and I am not nice about it. I wait, literally, until they copy all 10 years of my patient history. I offer to take the originals, save them the time and effort of actually making copies ... because I won't be going back. (ps: I'm signing this anonymous because I seriously do not want to deal with this office, even as a followup to this review)
