Dr Mayer saw the friend on the street and found him attractive, so instead of helping me separate, Dr Mayer convinced me that I was in love with the friend, resulting in an extended dysfunctional relationship. When I announced that I was quitting Dr Mayer's practice, he used improper client-retention techniques, including telling me I had a "25% chance of survival". Dr Mayer wasted a lot more than just my time and money.
