“VERY DISAPPOINTED!!”
I was referred to Duke for a second opinion after having two detached retina surgeries and developed loss of central vision. Dr. Postel spent less than ten minutes with me and told me there was no hope for restoring vision. I immediately called Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Center for an appointment, had surgery the next week and vision was restored. My JH doc said anyone should have been able to diagnosis the abundant scar tissue was causing vision issues. DO NOT GO TO DR.POSTEL FOR RETINA PROBLEMS!
