Comment  - “ Dr. Ira Fisch, An Exceptional Spine Surgeon ”

Dr. Ira Fisch is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgery. My experience with Dr. Fisch was excellent. During my first appointment, he reviewed my x-rays with me and he explained thoroughly why I was having back pain. We discussed a number of actions I could take and I decided to go with physical therapy and if that didn’t work, the lumbar spine injections. I tried them both and the back pain was not alleviated. Dr. Fisch recommended and I agreed that my best option was now surgery to fuse the lower three vertebrae. He explained the procedure of fusing to my husband and me at an appointment. Dr. Fisch encouraged us to call him if we had any more questions, we did, and he answered them all completely. To sum up my experience with Dr. Fisch, I would say that I feel very lucky to have chosen him as my spine surgeon. My surgery went very well, and my post op was uneventful =-) and smooth. Dr. Fisch is an outstanding doctor who I highly recommend! He is an incredibly competent, highly skilled, and knowable surgeon!
