“Collaborative and Compassionate”
I was referred to a hematologist due to a year of elevated platelet counts. I didn't have to wait long to see him and when he came in, he told me he had already consulted with my hepatologist I'm seeing for consistent elevated liver enzymes. That is amazing and unheard of with doctors let alone specialists. I was ready to get written off by yet another specialist but Dr. Ohr was kind and compassionate. Highly recommend!
Dr. Ohr was not familiar with my records prior to entering the exam room. He was unable to answer my questions adequately, nor was he able to simply say "i don't know." Instead he offered weak and non-evidenced based claims. He did not perform a comprehensive physical exam as would have been expected on a new patient without a diagnosis. The entire visit was a complete waste of time.
