“Great Doctor / Poor Office Staff”
I went in for an initial consultation with Dr. McKenna and he was great. But afterwards, was when things went wrong. On numerous occasions I was contacted right before a scheduled procedure to delay my appointment because of an overbooked schedule. When I asked what my options were to see a physician that wouldn't constantly cancel I was moved to a different physician. I told the staff that I didn't think I should have to pay another consultation fee but I would gladly pay for the in-office procedure and that if they insisted on me paying a consultation fee again I would just go to a different practice. I was told they would just charge me my procedure fee.
The day of my appointment I was told I would have to pay the consultation fee and the procedure fee. I ended up just cancelling my appointment and I'm going to find a new ENT group. Dr. McKenna seemed great but the staff here is lacking. They obviously don't care about providing good customer service or righting a wrong (constant cancellations). These cancellations were a major inconvenience to me but all they seemed interested in was double charging me on consultation fees within the same practice.
There are other ENT groups in the Phoenix area that provide better service than Valley ENT....
