“Could not get better care ANYWHERE”
Monday morning: My hernia was acting up and my appointment was not until Friday. I started to the Maryview Emergency Room, but decided to try for Dr. Riblet at the office. His receptionist was extremely helpful, Dr. Riblet took a look at my condition and set me up with a pre-op appointment at the Harbourview office that day, Dr. Riblet is a kind and caring individual with a great support staff.
I count at least eighteen staff with whom I spoke, signed papers, gave blood, did an EKG, had pre-admission and nursing interviews, struggled to get into a gown (the new plastic gowns have heating systems!), did the anesthetic interview, said a prayer with the chaplain, and talked to the doctor as he explained the procedure in detail. Odds are that one in eighteen would be grouchy, right? Wrong. The entire team was pleasant, enthusiastic, and showed that they were truly interested in giving me the best care possible. What a great experience.
my experience with Dr Riblet was great. He was very informative and very consoling. I wish every doctor had the same manor as Dr Riblet.
