Dr. Wachira was the pulmonogist that came to see me in radiology dept at Baptist downtown after I had a bilateral mastectomy and had to have chest tube following puncture of my lung when surgeon attempted insertion of infusaport. He confirmed for me that indeed they were likely not going to be able to reposition chest tube and would need to pull it and reinsert one in another location. He was caring, compassionate and kind. It is so nice to have my physician care enough to recommend additional therapy. In all of the time I've dealt with scarcoidosis, I've never been recommended or referred for pulmonary rehab. The education and corrected instruction I received from how to breath properly to lifting weights has helped. I appreciate you and your staff.
