“lovely, caring physician”
my parents both went to dr yerg, whom i found to be a compassionate, dedicated physician. i am a clinician in the medical field who does not easily give accolades. he was very down to earth, knowledgeable and spoke in a way my parents could understand. when my mom's oxygen level was not readable due to her fingernail polish, he tracked down some remover and took off that polish, so he could get an accurate reading. when my mom could not hear him and asked my dad to repeat, dr yerg tapped her on ...Original review on DoctorsDig.com
I enjoyed my association with Dr. Yerg who got me well from a case of pneumonia and several bounts of bronchitis. That all ended when I complained to him of a medication he prescribed for one condition which caused severe side effects. During that visit, he yelled at me, flipped pages of my chart in a loud, dramatic way, said things difficult to hear, and his angry behavior reduced me to tears. Doctor John Yerg is not a good or dedicated doctor and was rude to me on a number of occasions during the years I was his patient. I was glad to have finally gotten rid of him. I now have a very good physician who actually listens to me, is very polite, and really cares about my health and well being.
