I hope the other Doctors in Atlantic orthopaedics is like this. But not especially my hops and knee doctor you need to wait for hours for 10 minutes service.

My experience with Dr Strand was a good one. He has done Radio Frequency Nerve Ablation procedures and given me steroid shots. The process was much less complicated and painful than when I went to the Sentara Pain Mgmt center. Kudos to Dr Strand and his staff.

I think this is the doctor I saw, he never identified himself but he was great otherwise! and everyone I interacted with was fantastic! My major problem was the building all the entrances were the same and once you got in the building the directory would not tell you where the offices were only who the people were. For movement impaired patients to have to wander around is not a good idea. I did not see a sign with 110A on it until we got to the end of a long corridor. If it hadn't been the right office, I would have had to walk all the way back to the center of the building. I think this is an urgent problem that should be addressed tomorrow. Put up some signage!

Dr.Strand worked quickly with me, based on my pain level through out my hip/right leg pain threshold which was running high. He made me do some leg motions to assess where we were at - I ended up getting a cortisone shot for my leg. Follow up action is for getting an MRI, and then assessing what option exists next. I appreciated Dr.Strand and his efficient care for getting seen, heard, acknowledged and treated and follow up plans/communications. Thanks Dr.Strand.
