I can't even explain in words the transformation that has taken place, and I know I'm still in the cocoon phase of the transformation, but he is ensuring that my cocoon doesn't fall from the tree never to complete the cycle. Dr. Robbins and I started working together after the loss of someone very close to me. He has helped me so much with my grief and other things that I did not realize were an issue. I learning to find faith in things again, and that being sad is okay. I have learned to miss someone means that you were lucky enough to love someone. Something I was unable to see two months ago. I am also learning to believe in myself and finding myself spiritually again. The one thing I will carry with me for the rest of my life is how on our first session he told me to let him carry the weight of the grief until I was ready, and carry he did. You could not ask for someone better to help you deal with the loss of a loved one and I am so grateful to him and the amazing work Body & Mind Consulting has done for me. My life is having meaning for the first time in a LONG time. If you can get into to see him, DO IT!

I looked through insurance providers first and then to Psychology today to get details of approach, population served and whether faith based or not - any addiction experience? I was looking for a male who was older than me and with higher credentials than myself. Now I see the pic, doesn't look like him at all. Would lose the glasses and probably the tie for next profile pic if going got individual referrals - keep the tie for consultation opps. Of course Google is the first thing anyone does and searches for reviews from clients.

I am comfortable sharing my feelings with him. I know he really cares about me and my future. He respects my opinion and values my perspective. I consider him not only my Doctor but my friend.

I have been seeing Dr Robins for a few years now and it's the best decision I ever made. He helped me to get in a much better headspace after some trauma and has helped me to maintain that throughout the years. Highly recommend. He doesn't sugar coat and isn't afraid to tell me when he thinks I should look at things differently.
