I have been very happy with my overall care. Dr. Peifer listens and makes recommendations about my condition and medications and how to improve my condition. He understands my wish to lower medications and allows it when my condition is stable. He is also very clear in his explanations and makes sure I have appropriate testing as needed.

Meeting Dr. Peifer for the first time, not only did he come prepared to discuss my situation and care, but he was willing to listen to my concerns and history instead of just stare at his computer. I felt like a human being instead of another number being pushed through the system. I also like the fact that he is not a pill pusher. He knew that I didn't want to take all of the medications I was on for the rest of my life and was willing to try and wean me off if at all possible. It was because of his plan and care that I am now able to function again without GI pain. He listens to what I have to say while I am here and takes the time needed with his patients.
