“Did procedures without asking me, was very rude”
Dr Lindsay was on call on at a Labor and Delivery unit when I was her patient. I consented to having my membranes ruptured to speed labor, but she decided while she was in there to insert a pressure catheter. I said "what is that?" because I did not have an epidural and could feel everything. She knew I did not understand the procedure and kept going anyway. I became afraid of her at that point (I had no where else to go). I have an abuse history and this event has negatively impacted my ability to seek medical help or trust physicians. I had a c-section and could not obtain follow up care out of fear that the next Dr would do whatever they felt like to me. In addition to these serious problems she was also remarkably rude to me and my family.
