He completed a total replacement on my right knee and then little while down the road he retired from the Navy and I was assigned a new doctor. When that doctor told me he was also retiring, I asked how Dr. Balsamo was doing and when I was given the phone number where he was at I recognized it right away at Atlantic Orthopedics. I made an appointment and re-established him as my Ortho doctor again. I am glad that I have the doctor that did my knee replacement once again. Dr.Balsamo did an evaluation of my right knee. He administered giving me a steroid shot in the right knee. He also had me to get a MRI done on my knee. When I came back for a follow up for my MRI results he explained that I would need surgery to repair my knee. He explained the reasoning behind getting surgery done. I am great full to Dr. Balsamo for his prognosis on my knee.
