Dr Elfenbaum is truly special when it comes to understanding chronic pain patients. From the first visit, she made me feel welcome and feel comfortable. I felt that she really cared about me and my life. She asked all about my past surgeries, medical problems, and previous pain medicines and doctors. Dr. Elfenbaum is one of the best doctors I have ever had.. and trust me, I have had many!! From the first appointment, I was thoroughly impressed! I have chronic pain & had to switch from my old doctor to her whenever we moved to San Diego. Initially I was very apprehensive about switching doctors, because good ones are extremely hard to find.
