I took my 5 year old son to Dr. Bartiss on a referral from my optometrist. He had told us that he wanted an ophthalmologist to take a look at him but he felt that exercises or glasses could easily correct his mild case of lazy eye (his right eye drifts in the evening sometimes if he is tired) and he stressed that he felt he did not need surgery.
