“Very good experience.”
She is very kind and knowledgeable. Explains all the medications in detail and gives written instructions. She is very truthful and doesn't sugar coat anything, and explains that it is my best interest. She also explained all my lab to me. She explained in detail to me why she wouldn't recommend certain things I asked about - I think she is very realistic and intelligent.
I expressed concern with Dr. Chico over problems I have been having, symptoms of hypothyroidism. She accused me of seeking illegal treatment, she yelled at me and basically made me feel as though I was being attacked. She never took the time to get to know me as a person or she would have realized that I am concerned with my health and only want to be informed and take the best, most appropriate action for my health. I understand that she may deal with other patients seeking the easy way out, but I am not one of them. I am currently looking for a new endocrinologist. I feel that a good doctor listens to their patients and addresses their concerns. A good doctor provides their patients with options and information so they can make the best choice for their overall health. A good doctor does not yell at their patients and make them feel bad. If there were a negative 5 - I would give it to her.
