My initial appointment was for for a toe nail issue. I mentioned that my feet were sore after working and my ankles and knees were starting to bother me. He evaluated my walk and prescribed custom orthotics. They have made all the difference, a year latter I have no pain and average 1200 steps per day at work.

Had been experiencing pain in foot, was concerned diagnosis would be inconclusive or just told I need x rays first. Not the case here. Doctor was very knowledgeable and almost instantly knew what was causing problem when I described issue. Instead of the normal "we need x rays" line, he avoided that completely and went right to the basics, describing what was happening and easy ways to resolve the problem. Will be my go to foot guy from now on. Thanks again!

“Fungal Nails Cured!”

My 9 year old son had been battling a bad case of fungal toenails for 4 years. We tried topical ointments, laser treatments, etc, all which did nothing. It got to the point that his toenails were not only unsightly, but also painful, esp when playing soccer. Then we found Dr. Shikoff. A combination treatment of oral medication & topical ointment has produced phenomenal results! Here we are 7 months later and we see a 100% improvement. My only regret is not finding Dr. Shikoff sooner!

As a nurse, I am always on my feet. I had an infected ingrown toenail, so I looked for a podiatrist to help me out, not expecting to schedule anything for a couple of days since I would be a new patient. I called Dr. Shikoff's office and Lisa was soo kind and understanding and did everything she could to have me seen that same day! I came to the office and Dr. Shikoff was very nice, funny and explained everything. I am scheduling another procedure in the near future.

Lisa was friendly when I called to make my appointment and was really sweet when I arrived for the appointment. Dr. Shikoff was also friendly from the moment he walked into the room. It was more like a conversation when he was gathering information and assessing my symptoms. He immediately knew what was going on with my heel pain and developed a plan to help. His explanation was easy to understand and his directions for treatment and follow-up were thorough. He took the time to discuss how the medication would work and what to expect. I liked that he listened to my concerns and was interested in my entire medical history when reaching his diagnosis and treatment plan. Highly recommend this office!! Lovely atmosphere and Dr. Shikoff is extremely knowledgeable.

I am a 78 Year old senior. Dr Shikoff was patient very sensitive to my foot problems. I am so sorry i did not know of him when I had my bunion fixed 5 years ago. I did not know how important it was to use a podiatrist and NOT an orthopedic surgeon.
He was most careful when accessing every aspect of my health in relationship to my feet.
His nursing staff was top of the line nursing!!
I would give this place a 10!! I would know cause my previous foot care done by a Dr Wapner at Jefferson Hospital and i would give them a 0 grade.

I also has a split in my skin on my foot and my treatments with Dr. Shikoff have greatly enhanced my feelings in my left foot and taken care of the split in my nail. My feet have never been better.

Dr. Shikoff is very personable, knowledgeable, and willing to spend time with me. The only drawback of that is that whenever I have an appointment I can be assured that I will spend 30-45 minutes in the waiting room past my appointment time before I'm taken back into a room, which is frustrating.

“Great Doc abd Staff 1st Class”

A friend recommended Doctor Shikoff for my diabetes, after
my visit ive learmed more about my do's and dont's as far as my diabetes.

Doctor has been a blessing for my foot ulser , recommending a dietician, and seeing an eye doctor . things have been going better than I imagined. He has taken the time and shown he cares about the patient not just an assembly line.

I cant say enough and strongly recommend his services to anyone needing foot care.

“Free from fungus--at last!”

Dr. Mitchell has succeeded where my previous podiatrist had failed. Now, after two decades of suffering from a fungus infection, my toenails are finally free, clear and pink. Dr Shikoff took the time to help diagnose the pain I had in my feet. I ended up needing inserts in my shoes which Dr. Shikoff had molded for me. The pain I had experienced in my lower back, knees, and feet started to improve with proper alignment with the inserts that were made. Dr. Shikoff took the time to diagnosis my condition and help relive my painful symptoms. I would recommend Dr Shikoff to anyone seeking answers about their foot conditions.

I barely waited 3 minutes in the waiting before they took me back to do Foot X-Rays. They applied the Cam Walker and Dr Shikoff Explained in detail my foot fracture and how i was to wear the appliance in order to have the bone heal. Wonderful Experience.

I have been seeing Dr. Shikoff as my Podiatrist for 15 years. He is extremely thorough and he always errs on the side of caution.
