With Dr Donoway, someone always answers the phone and your questions are answered immediately, even in the late evenings and Saturdays and Sundays.What a blessing. We found Dr. Donoway on-line from our home in Denmark and traveled to his office a few months ago. Since then we have been in various treatments for pancreatic cancer and reached a point where we decided that a surgery was the best option. From studying up on the wipple procedure we rapidly agreed that this was a bit too much of an operation and so we looked for alternatives -- and this is where Dr. Donoway excels - he provides a surgery which removes (kills) the cancerous cells, but leaves all healthy organs in place. The surgery itself was performed at a local hospital and all went well. Thank you for the professional service and your open communication at any time and for any questions - that makes one feel safe as one can have many questions when the pains show up, and being able to discuss this immediately is comforting.

I came from British Colombia, Canada in order to be treated in a way I could not get there. Dr Donoway talked to me one month before the surgery. Since I was alone, he organized transportation to and from the hospital the day of the operation without me asking. He organised different pre op exams in different outsides clinics in order to minimize the costs! He made sure along the way that I was at the right place at the right time for these exams. The cut from the operation seem to be very well done. So far, very happy to have decided to spend money for a different approach than the one I would have had at home (Chemo and Radio T). Here: only imunotherapy. He also organised for me to have follow up physician in Canada that would go along this different treatment (Nanaoknife). I do not know about the 90 days follow up yet but I believe It will be as said as the whole adventure so far went as said. I had a serious and deadly basil cell carcinoma that luckily was caught just in time. It was also on my arm and I have to admit that I am a bit vain so I did not want any ugly scars. My surgery was quite large and in the end the closure was almost 4" long. My early post op visits with the doctor were concerning regarding scaring as it wasn't pretty to me but the doctor told me that it will be totally fine and to my liking. I knew that he was also a successful plastic surgeon prior to becoming an oncologist so i went with it. I must say that the end result, after the required time to heal has become amazing and I could not be happier, I would only see Dr. Donoway and recommend him to anyone in need of his expertise.

Called for an appointment after a biopsy gave negative results. Was given an appointment the next week. Had a bit of a wait on 1st visit. To be expected when you are being worked in. Dr Donoway was very reassuring and upbeat. He truly cares about his patients. Turned out my procedure be as an outpatient and the results the next week were all negative. Very positive experience. Highly recommend Dr. Donoway and Staff.

Dr. Donoway is a freak of nature when it comes to Doctors. Open communication via text/Telephone/email. Consistently and thru out care. I have never seen this before or thought it existed. Going thru a tough time and having that ability to converse with you doctor so easily is just no heard of. He truly cares about his patient. My diagnosis was terminal with almost no hope of remedy. I have significant history of skin cancers in my family but I had managed to avoid the curse until earlier this year. My dermatologist diagnosed me with a melanoma on my back and referred me to Dr Donoway. When you are dealing with Pancreatic Cancer, Stage-IV, you must make a crucial decision between letting the doctors take control OR taking a pro-active role in your treatment. When our Medical Oncologist basically told us that only Chemo was an option and that she was not confident she would get the primary tumor through chemo, we knew we had to take action. Mom wanted to fight this! We researched and were willing to go anywhere to get our Mother the treatment and care she deserved. We discovered Nanoknife and almost went to another country to have the percutaneuous version. Then we connected with Dr. Donoway, who patiently answered our questions and explained Open vs. Percutaneous Nanoknife to us. We liked that he prefers to see PC as a chronic, rather than a terminal disease. So we decided to travel half-way around the world, take a 15 hour flight across the Pacific and the USA, to get to Dr. Donoway and have our Mom undergo Nanoknife and Gastric Bypass.

In my experience he did a great job with me, he gave me hope and I have been a cancer survival for 10 years now, he has the best doctor patient relationship and remembers everything about me and on each visit ask about how everything is going, his staff are amazing especially the front desk lady she always advocates with my insurance company when the transportation leaves me behind, also makes good arrangements for my appointments, I am very thankful to Dr. Donoway and his staff.
