Dr. Patty did a ACL replacement on my left knee around 1994. He used the center 1/3 of my patella ligament. Everything he did, was with such precision that after the surgery I had no need for any pain medication, the day after my surgery I went to the gym, on crutches, and worked upper body. I an now almost 67 years old. I have water skied, rock climbed, snow skied and sailed without any thought of my knee. Doctor Patty said I should get back 85% use of that knee, I still have 100%.
