“Excellent Doctor”
We first saw Dr. Skerker because my wife had developed several pressure sores that were not healing. Dr. Skerker immediately recognized that my wife's underlying problem was a very high blood sugar and poor nutrition. Dr. Skerker ordered a series of blood tests which confirmed his suspicions. Following his advice my wife was admitted to Morristown Memorial for a few days to treat her high blood sugar.
Dr. Skerker also suggested that we see an endocrinologist to help us manage her condition. As a result of Dr. Skerker's advice my wife's pressure sores are about 80% healed and her overall condition has improved significantly.
We found Dr. Skerker to be very friendly, sociable and very professional. His staff at the Wound Care Center in Morristown Memorial are also very caring, kind and professional and they certainly know what they are doing. Overall, we consider ourselves very lucky to have found Dr. Skerker.
