“Horrific”
Dr. Siegler was on call Wednesday night, 3/122/14 for Dr. Wix. My mother is a current patient of Dr. Wix and he had sent her to an orthopedic doctor for severe back pain. She is 73 years of age has been bedridden for 5 days due to the back injury. Her MRI is scheduled for 3/13/14 and I called the Dr. Wix's office at 4:15 and the nurse said that he would not refill a prescription without her coming in. She was there two days ago for her injury, so he knows what is going on. The nurse then proceeded to say this in not a emergency facility and maybe would call her back in the morning because he has other patients beside her. The episode with Dr Siegler is that he told the answering service after I called 3 times to tell me he is refusing to call me back or the patient. What doctor refuses to talk to a patient. I hope for his sake nothing happens during the night with my mother!
