Dr Rowland was very easy to understand, he explained things well, while taking his time and not making it feel rushed. He made me feel comfortable in decision making, for what we needed to do further. My son had a previous repair for his ACL through a newer surgery called BEAR at a clinic in the Dallas region. Sometimes in a smaller area you feel like you may not get the “best of the best” so you look outside the area, i wish i had done some more research and looked into urgent ortho midland for his initial ACL injury though. Dr Rowland seems to be very knowledgeable and helpful towards my athletic child.
The Dr was educated in this BEAR procedure, and was able to explain why we may be having issues with his knee still; while this BEAR repair is still undergoing some studies.
Unfortunately, we will be going through another surgery, but i felt he only has my son’s best interest at heart. He will be well taken care of at urgent ortho midland.

Dr Rowland is top notch in my book! He spends all the time you need to explain everything he sees in your X-rays and MRI and anything else on CD that you bring in to your appointment. He makes sure that you understand completely everything he has told you and spends QUALITY time making sure every question you have is answered and you understand everything said during your appointment. He doesn’t get aggravated even if he needs to explain something two or three times before you understand everything.

I was in and out with in one hour. Quick to get me in for my X-rays plus didn’t have to wait too long for the doctor. I would have waited as long as I needed because I was in pain and needed results right and them if all possible. Gave me a steroid injection so one day later is not 100% but hopefully in two more days the injection helps.
