In the 2 years prior to meeting Sami Bati, LAc, MD, I was diagnosed with hydrosyringomyelia, arrhythmia , anemia, rheumatoid arthritis, severe Myofacial pain, fainting, scoliosis, two brain tumors - pituitary gland and cerebellum and one lung tumor, neuropathy in my feet, bowel and urinary incontinence, limited range of motion in my neck, insomnia, vision trouble with no depth perception, memory loss. I have been to New York Presbyterian hospital and the Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville Florida, both of which offered no treatment options. They said "surgery would be like opening up Pandora's box". Then I was diagnosed with Chiari malformation. I was taking several different prescription drugs and was doing daily breathing treatments, seeing 2 different physical therapists, numerous specialist, and was in constant excruciating pain, and could no longer work or drive. Sami Bati is the most knowledgeable M.D. we have ever had the pleasure to meet and to treat both my husband and me. Through a series of acupuncture treatments, he was able to heal the tears in my husband's shoulder and nerve endings on his thumb so he did not have to have surgery.
