Growing up with Dr. Byrd, I will tell you first hand by the time he was in first grade he knew he wanted to be a doctor, and just not any kind of doctor but the old school type doctors that cared! Not only was Dr. Byrd gifted intellectually and has text book smarts and acquired skills but he is one of the most genuine and compassionate doctors I've ever known.
