Dr. Bens truly cares about his patients and is extremely detailed in every visit and does the best he can possibly do to find the cause of the illness. Doctor Bens is very familiar with Ehlers-Danlos, which I have. It is a connective tissue syndrome which is under diagnosed, in my opinion. Many doctors I've seen have never even heard of Ehlers-Danlos. Dr. Bens understands all aspects of this syndrome and is extremely helpful in treating it for me!

I have been seeing Dr Bens monthly for about a year now and it has been very refreshing to have a Dr that cares, listens, tries to find alternatives when the current treatment is not working and he does not stop there. He follows up, shows concern, asks questions and doesn't tire of trying harder to help. He himself have talked to my other doctors if needed to coordinate treatment, he himself talks to insurance companies if they need more information regarding needed care. I feel blessed to have Dr Bens in my arsenal of Doctors. He is by far one of the best I have had.

Always has time to talk about my condition and explains everything until I understand. Under care of a surgeon I was given antibiotics and advised of the need to refrain from one of my medications. Dr Bens called later that day to advise me of the same information! He did not have to but he was looking at my chart and noticed the information. That sold me on him!
