“Terrible Customer service.”
From the moment we walked in and went up to the window. I stood there looking at her behind the glass and waited for a response. NOTHING! She didn't even look up. Another employee walked up to give her some other patients paperwork and was nice enough to open the window and acknowledge. So we sat down. I decided I should probably ask if the insurance benefits were verified since I called a week prior and gave all of the info via phone. So I walk to the dreaded glass window and stand there. Once again, no acknowledgment. So I proceed to knock on the window. Craziest invention ever! Who thought a sliding glass window was a good design. She slides it open grudgingly and stares at me. I had to prompt my question. So I ask did the insurance information get verified? She states who is the patient? I almost walked out then. I should have because it gets a lot worse. She states no it has not. I ask why? She states because the info is not correct. I ask ok want info do you have? She repeats back exactly what's on the card. Then tells me she is not the one who verifies. So naturally I ask who does and she states my coworker snidely. Then I asked ok what is her name? She states I can't give you that info. Then I asked to speak to a manager Henry Sekula. Hands down the worst manager I have ever come across and I never even met him. More on that later. So I stand there at the window and she tells me to have a seat and I told her I'm fine waiting here. She then states well I'm going to shut the window. I said ok I will come back to the second waiting area. Which is right in front of her desk. So I did with my daughter whom this appointment was for. All the ghetto employees vacate to the back and gossip about the lady who is wanting to talk to their manager. I heard every word and they have trash mouths. I start scanning their office space and realize how unorganized and filthy it is and look to the back corner of the office that patients can see and see a girl eating a burrito, spilling it's contents all over the desk, floor while she was conversing with her mouth full. Again I should have walked out the. For Gods sake this is a medical practice not a Taco Bell. Taco Bell looked cleaner. OSHA will be my next venture with this place. So while I'm waiting a girl comes out and hands me a urine cup sample?? I look at her and tell her I'm not a patient. She goes up to the rude front desk phone answerer girl and ask who she is suppose to give it too? So unorganized. I ask the front desk window girl who I have been having attitude from since we walked in if there is an email address so I can state my concerns. She says no Henry doesn't believe in emails because it's a security breach? This office also is old and outdated and smells like tacos. Hmmm, I should have known you can't reach out to a superior in that office because no one wants to own up to mistakes. So we get called back to a room and wait. The front desk window girl comes in and starts to explain my benefits? Wait??? I thought you didn't verify insurance? I then ask if I could see a copy of what our insurance states. She then Rudely states we offer to file insurance it's a service you can find out about your benefits by calling. Whoa really? If you have a print out why can't you just show me a copy. She was so nasty. I don't know how she has a job??? Still waiting for Mr. manager Henry Sekula?? Does he exist? I told we we are leaving and I still want to speak to your manager. I followed her up to the front and asked her does he know I would like to speak to him? Did you even tell him. I see her walk through the paper littered taco wrapper office and state to someone maybe Henry that that the patient and mom is leaving. Waited for another 5 min and lo and behold! Still no Henry? Forget it! We walked out of that nasty unorganized and very non patient friendly dump and will go Else where. I guess a big red flag is when you call to make an appt at a dermatology office and they say we can get you in today RUN! That means they have no business! Hopefully it closes! They complete restructuring!
