“DOES IT HURT?”
DOES IT HURT HONEY?
That's what Dr. Caplan asked my wife while she was pushing, to which my wife responded, "yes, but I can handle it". A very honest answer from a woman pushing a baby out. Dr. Caplan retorted " that's what you wanted honey, a natural child birth" If it was just that I would chalk it up horrible bedside manner of a socially inept doctor. But it didn't end there. This doctor is far too busy to give proper care to pateints. My very first and most important question to this office when choosing a doctor was, "Will I get to see the doctor herself? Or will I see some assistant and then have the doctor be a STRANGER when she delivers my baby?" They assured me that I would see the Dr and that the visits are staggered, one visit with NP and one visit with Dr, and so on. Well I am 7 MONTHS pregnant, and have NEVER met the Dr even once in my life!!!...
