I am a current patient of Dr. Smith-Sham and I appreciate having her as my OB/GYN for my first pregnancy. She does not rush through her appointments and is engaging and willing to answer all your questions. She demonstrates genuine concern and interest for you and the baby and will follow up personally in emergency situations. She has a very busy practice so you may have to wait for an appointment (generally no longer than an hour) but I find that she is worth the wait.Original review on DoctorsDig.com

“Good Doctor but very $$$”

The doctor is very smart, thorough, and has great bed side manner. The down side and why she did not get a btter rateing is that she sends you outside for basic things like blood work and ultrasounds. If this is done in house it is overed under my copay of $15 but by sending me to outside facilities my insurance puts it under co-pay and has left me with more than $600 in out of pocket cost above and beyond the copay. “Great Accolades HORRIBLE Office Staff”

I relocated to the area and went searching for a new obgyn. I read about Smith-Sham's credentials and thought she would be a great doctor. I never had the opportunity to meet her because her staff was so horrible. They did not accomodate my schedule, told me what time to be there and on what day with no options.
