“Excellent Doctor Incompetent Staff”
Dr. Steinbaum is an extremely knowledgeable and congenial individual. Her office staff is incompetent, disrespectful, disorganized, and uncooperative to name just a few of the issues. This last event I experienced with her staff was over obtaining a prescription for a blood and urine test. By the time I was done trying to get the correct prescription, I now needed a doctor to help me recover from the overwhelming stress and frustration I experienced due to her staff’s ineptness. I no longer have bloods draws at Dr. Steinbaum’s office because I cannot trust her phlebotomist to properly draw my bloods. Yes, the phlebotomist did not properly prepare my bloods so they were coagulated and worthless for testing. She is the very person who wrote incorrect ICD codes creating medical conditions that I do not have. More than anything, Dr. Steinbaum’s office staff is so incompetent, frustrating and stressful that I end up leaving Dr. Steinbaum's office with heart palpitations. I cannot, no matter how great Dr. Steinbaum may be, subject myself to the aggravation that I experience at her office because it is making me ill. I do not recommend Dr. Steinbaum's office to anyone with a heart condition.
