I live in Baltimore and I travel to Rockville for vein therapy because I am so appreciative and confident in Dr. Fernandez’s care. I cannot imagine seeing anyone else for vein care.

What I was not pleased about occurred on 22 December 2023 when I drove from Baltimore to an appointment in Rockville only to find the suite locked up tight. As a courtesy, I think that I should have been notified in advance that the vein clinic would not be functioning that Friday. To add insult to injury, I was later told that I had missed my
appointment.

I certainly realize that Dr. Fernandez is not responsible for scheduling.

Great experience once we arrived. Disappointing experience with scheduling. We called and made appt. We were told 1:45 pm. Were told we would receive email so we could pre-register. Nothing came so I called the day before. Receptionist said she would resend. Received email morning of that said appointment at 1:45 but when opening attachment to register, it said 1pm. Also received separate email that said 1 pm. I called and said the appt was scheduled for 1:45. I was told that "She must have looked at it wrong" when scheduling and we needed to be there by 1. Since we did not receive any emails until morning of appointment, this change was very inconvenient as we had another appt earlier that day. We were 13 min late (for the adjusted time) but still w/i grace period. Other than appt chaos, we were very pleased.

It was my first visit. I was taken to the room for my ultrasound right away. The technician who performed the ultrasound on my legs was friendly, gave clear instructions and explained what she was doing. After the procedure, the woman I spoke with took more detailed information about why I was there and gave some information about the findings. Dr. Fernandez then came in and reviewed the findings in more detail and outlined the next course of action.

An amazing experience from day one to the follow ups. I walked into the office referred by my doctor having no idea what to expect. Neither did I understand my condition until they explained everything. I have been experiencing heaviness and some strange pain especially while resting, restless feet etc. My veins would really come out after walking, running or doing anything physical. On my first check up they scanned my legs, a process that might take about half an hour. After the scan the doctor came inside and explained what was going on with my veins. Dr. Fernandez was very easy to understand, listened to me carefully, asked if I had any questions and scheduled me to go back do my both legs, different days, about a week apart. I went for the first leg, the doctor and his team were ready by the time I walked inside. Again, him and his staff were very patient and comforting. A month after, my legs feel amazing and know I understand how I was experiencing pain and heaviness before!!

He demonstrates patience in answering all of my questions, and I leave each office visit knowing more about the human body's amazing circulatory system.

Unfortunately, the company's billing department seems to be in a rush to mail paper bills that are incorrect and inaccurate---creating concern, confusion and delay. I have had to correct the invoices three times for small and quite large amounts. It would save the company time and postage to reconcile accounts before mailing any bill.
