“Stay away from this man!”
Now working at Sierra Vista Children's Behavioral Health Clinic as Mr. Doug Bright. I have NEVER in my 53 years ever met a less professional health care worker. This man immediately tried to give my 12 year old son psych meds, without having a clear idea of what his issues were. Asked me questions about how my son was feeling, instead of asking him directly. Had no apparent interest in what my son and I wanted, just tried to insist on medications that were intended for adults. Said to me that "Our heavenly father has given us all kinds of wonderful medications." When I asked for a list of recommended medications that I could research, he became red faced, visibly angry and refused to give me the list, saying that no lay person could ever research enough to make the right choice. Then shouted at me, "How many years of medical school have YOU had?!"
I took my son and left. No parent should be bullied into drugging a child nor ever discouraged from researching suggested medications.
