Initially had some reservation about implant quality at half price. After some research and one personal recommendation I became Dr.Ferrara patient . That was over three years ago and I end up with “all-on-4”. As an engineer I was impressed with his mechanical and medical skills.. I neglected to have a long standing recommendation of having two molars extracted which landed me in my dentist's office on a Friday in severe pain due to a raging infection. I called Dr. Eric Ferrara's office first thing Monday morning and was promptly offered a same morning emergency appointment. I was greeted with a friendly and efficient front office team member and taken back to see Dr. Ferrara within 10 minutes. Upon exam, he not only offered to extracted the acutely infected offending molar, but also offered to extract the other molar. Not needing to schedule the second extraction for another visit saved me from taking even more time from work. What busy practice offers to go so above and beyond? Everything clinically and financially was explained to me prior to the actual treatment. Dr. Ferrara took the time to answer my questions. While lidocaine injections are never pleasant, it was obvious that the doctor was highly skilled and experienced in performing gentle and effective injections. During the procedure, Dr. Ferrara checked in with me several times to assess my comfort and coping. His assistant was kind and reassuring. Dr. Ferrara provided me with both verbal and written home care instructions. I received a follow up assessment call the next day. Several days later, I developed some pain at one of the extraction sites. I called the office and was told that I was welcome to come into the office. Again, I was treated with respect and kindness. The second I sat down in the waiting room, I was called back to an exam room. Dr. Ferrara performed and exam, explained what was going on, remedied the situation, and provided me with home care instructions. Everything was explained to me involving my treatment. Fees were broken down for me so i knew what my out of pocket would be for the surgery, before i scheduled it. The Doctor and staff were very pleasant and friendly from the time i came into the office until my exit. i love this office!!!!
