I have a bit of "white coat syndrome" (fear of medical providers), but that disappeared when I began interacting with Dr. Carr and his staff. They are warm and welcoming, explain things succinctly, and listen carefully and answer questions thoroughly. They all seem like a family, and that is extended to the patients, as well. I feel very well cared for, and am grateful this practice was recommended to me.

Two days after surgery I had no symptoms and no pain at all. Two weeks recovery and stitches removed I can do everything with my hands as before. This is a very simple procedure to have done, with little down time.

My knee pain was so severe in my right knee that I did not realize how successful the surgery I had on my left knee the year before was. I thought I was destined for a life of constant pain until after the surgery on my right knee. Three days after the surgery I was able to walk down the stairs with minimal pain.
I don't have to rely on a handrail to pull myself up the stairs and to keep from falling going down the stairs. My quick recovery time has amazed my family and coworkers.

Dr Carr was able to quickly and accurately diagnose the cause of my knee pain. He performed a laporoscopic surgery to clean up the tear in my meniscus. I only required pain medication and crutches for the first 24 hours, then I was able to transition over to Advil. I have had big toe pain for 3 years, sometimes even a sheet laying against made it hurt. I put off surgery. I got to where it really hurt to even put my foot into a shoe. Since Dr Car did my Hemi-Cap Toe Replacement surgery. I now have no pain and it has only been 2 weeks since my surgery. The surgery was not painful. I only took 3 of the pain pills the night of the surgery and rested my foot. I am so excited that I am now pain free and have a great range of motion back in my toe.

“Two total knee replacements”

The first knee replacement I was a little afraid but with the pain I had and the limited mobility I decided to have it. I was amazed coming out of surgery with my knee bending and the following day I was up walking. I did the therapy I was told to do and was on my way to recovery.

When I was told the other knee needed to be replaced I had to be replaced I never hesitated. We did it and within one week I was walking with a cane and started outpatient therapy.

Shoulder and knee pain began to appear as my age progressed.
I tolerated left shoulder pain for a long period until it was unbearable. After undergoing the procedure to correct the situation, I was sort of angry with myself, as the corrective procedure caused less discomfort than I had been tolerating. “Don't wait to have this done!!”

I put up with the pain and inconvenience of my trigger finger for months because I kept thinking it would heal up. I saw Dr. Carr and after a quick visit to the surgery center I was done! No pain from surgery at all and no more locking up of my thumb! I will never wait to have this done again if I have other fingers lock up. The doctor and his staff are awesome!!!

“Just What The Doctor Ordered!”

I had been having pain in my right ankle/foot for weeks ,but kept thinking it would go away. Dr. Carr was recommended to me , and he diagnosed my bursitis, but also addressed my uneven gait . The heel cups and core strengthening exercises he suggested have helped immensely in reducing pain,stiffness,and soreness. I had a brief wait in his office, but it was well worth it for the time he spent with me and the care he provided. I could not recommend him more highly.

“Carpel tunnel surgery”

This is best surgery ever. I was very skeptical after reading online reviews but I feel the was the best decision ever. I have lived with this problem for over 15 years because I was scared of the surgery and the outcome. Driving was difficult because of the numbness. Holding a bowl of food was impossible. Waking up in the middle of the night with a numb hand or pain had become my normal. Now I am 2 weeks post surgery and I'm already using my hand and no numbness or pain!!! I don't have full function yet but I can tell everyday is better. I can now hold a book to read with both hands. I'm even typing this with my surgery hand. Do not continue to wait. This is the best decision to make.

I was in pain my right knee, pain front and back of right thigh, Dr Carr told me he need to get MRI on right leg, the staff call information in MRI was done, finding was not good (Meniscus Tear), one day surgery, physical therapy started the fourth day. I feel better have lost 14 pounds.

After a horrible fall, I had shattered my right shoulder socket. I thought I would never be able to have full use of my arm again. I remember Dr. Carr saying it was one of the worst shoulders he had repaired. After surgery, I began a long road of recovery, but with Dr. Carr and his great staff's care and constant encouragement, slowly but surely I began to see improvement. Today, I have about 95% use of my arm. Which now at 67 is more than most of my friends who have never had any kind of shoulder surgery. Several times during the recovery process Dr. Carr graciously saw me at on short notice when I thought I was having difficulties. The only egret I have is not having my hips replaced sooner. Within 6 months you didn't know they were artificial. You have to be careful with some of the positions you could get into, but I never came close to dislocating a hip. The second one took a little more caution on my part but I'm thru that now. LIfe is good.
