Comment  - “ He might as well be a doctor. ”

When I came back to the Redding VA Health clinic Mr. Bonnett had replaced my last primary provider a MD in the Shasta Team (July 2014). I just got off the airplane from Thailand. I made an appointment while in Thailand so I got in when I arrived. I told him I was not feeling very well and was turning purple. He was on it and recognized my symptoms. I had a heart EF of 7-10 which is almost dead and bigeminy PVCs (spelling?). He made sure I received the tests and medications needed to save my life. His attitude was encouraging and positive. He showed real concern and made me feel like It was important to him that I get the care needed. My EF is at 55 now and the PVCs are controlled. Though he is a nurse prac and not a doctor I felt very confident with his decisions. Unfortunately he is no longer with the VA system.
