Very knowledgable about psychiatric disorders and the corresponding mediations. Takes time to explain the disorder and appropriate medication. She also not only takes the time to go over your psychiatric history but also orders blood work to make sure that your body isn't deficient in areas that could mimic or cause a psychiatric disorder. If you have any underlying medical conditions outside of the psychiatric realm, she takes the time to go over what they are and the corresponding medication (if any). Anytime I have mentioned her name to other medical professionals, the feedback from them is always positive and I have been told by two medical professions unrelated to her office that she is very well respected. She truly cares about her patients and is very upfront about the care being received. She is the absolute most thorough psychiatric practitioner I have ever seen. Her education, continuing education and background in the medical field is highly impressive.
