I arrived with serious trepidation and overwhelming pain. My dentist had diagnosed two teeth needing extraction. Of one I agreed with, including the implant graft work. The other less so, for I thought the true overwhelming pain was my upper back tooth and not the lower. Dr. Cohen examined and concluded that I was correct and that the lower wisdom had no issues. Moreover, she thought not to do the additional bone graft on the upper. All said, the procedure was surprisingly quick and easy, no pain. As she said she would do, the anesthetic dose would be whatever I needed.

The purpose of my visit was to get my wisdom teeth remove and I was honestly nervous about the whole thing going seeing as it is oral surgery and i have never had any type of surgery. During my first visit with her she managed to make me feel at ease and explained the whole procedure. I left feeling a little more ready for my surgery. On the day of the extraction the medical team in the room were taking down my medical history and getting me all ready, they were amazing! Dr. Cohen walked in and again calmed my nerves and explained everything she was doing while she was trying to get me all set up. When I woke up the medical staff were really friendly and even helped walk me out of the office! While I was recovering I expected to be in pain and to be extremely swollen but that was not the case. I was walking around looking like my normal self and eating all the ice cream in the world. I don't know what she did, but everything was amazing and her service exceeded my expectations!

I came to her office after first scheduling my tooth removal with another office, but being very concerned with the ethics of their consent agreement. MOSA puts their consent agreement on their website so I could see it before making an appointment, and I felt comfortable with it. I felt happy with my decision to have nitrous oxide. It reduced the stress but left me conscious and able to understand what was happening to me. It also meant that the Dr. was open to my partner being in the room. I hope some day all surgeries requiring general anesthesia will allow you to bring a surgery doula in the room. Not yet, but glad I could have a support person with nitrous.

In my case, there was a bit of a concern, and she realized that I became worried about it, but was able to calm me down and give me a fully detailed explanation of how the procedure would go. A few years later I needed my wisdom teeth removed and I was not comfortable with any dentists I had in the past. When I found out she did extractions and bone grafting I had to go to her! She's the best. She's the only dentist I am not nervous about. Like, if I didn't have insurance I would consider paying her out of pocket. Yeah, shes that good.

This was by far one of the most pleasant dental experiences I have ever had, and I got my wisdom teeth removed! Dr. Cohen is kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and did a great job with my wisdom teeth. The initial consultation was timely, and she explained which of the wisdom teeth needed to be removed, and why. The day of the surgery, I was in the chair right at appointment time, and was done in about 30 minutes. I can't recommend this enough! The staff is great too!

Dr. Cohen listened in each case, recommended her plan of treatment and an explanation of how and why each thing had to be done. She patiently answered all of my questions. Her staff is great and I have never had a wait. On one visit, I got there a bit early and was meeting with her BEFORE my scheduled time. The follow up care was also above expectation.

It's a wonderfully well-run operation here. Dr. Cohen's staff nurses are pleasant and professional, they carry themselves with competence and diligence. Holy shit, getting my tooth removed today was just a hell of a time with Dr. Cohen. The office is cozy and there are a lot of doors. The chairs are pretty neat and even though the doctor is short, she doesn't make you feel out of place as a tall person, like some dentists do. I don't know what else to say. Dr Cohen is the complete package.

I've had very positive experiences both time I've met with Dr. Cohen. During my initial visit, she explained the implant procedure thoroughly, and her staff followed up in a timely manner. On the day that I had to have my tooth extracted, Dr. Cohen was prepared for my nervous responses and put me completely at ease - even allowing me to put in my earphones so I would not become so nervous by the sound of the drill. She explained everything she was doing during the procedure, and was reassuring.

This is second time coming to see Dr. Cohen, to get a tooth pulled. I came once in 2016 and again in 2018. I remembered her excellent service from my first extraction. As you can tell, I loath "the dentist." However, she has a great bedside manor, always makes me feel comfortable. But, most of all it never hurts and I am out in less than 30 minutes. Also, as a bonus staff here are very friendly. If you must have dental surgery, choose Dr. Cohen!
