I had cataract surgery on both of my eyes. Dr Sforza’s is the BEST. The surgery outcome was excellent. Dr Sforza took time to explain the surgery procedure and answered any questions of concern I had. It should be noted , Andrea did a great job scheduling not only my cataract surgery, but also my wife’s who had cataract surgery a few weeks before me. Dr Sforza’s support staff treatment is also noteworthy.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes, six weeks apart. Dr Sforza is conservative in that respect. I know of people who have done both eyes a week apart. He also maintains a rigorous eye drop regimen that lasts 6 weeks per eye. From the research I did, it appears that being weaned off the steroid eye drop is a best practice. A small point, but I also like the way he does eye exams. Reading the letters becomes more like a game show - being congratulated when getting a row correct, and being told you were close when not seeing the correct letter.

Dr. Sforza is one of those drs who went into practice not as a business, but because he truly cares for his patients. As I waited (wait time was 1.5 hours before seeing the dr. on a Sunday), you could hear him with other clients. He was kind and patient with everyone. I do not understand why appointments are scheduled in 15 min increments. 2 hours later, I walked out, but I was happy that I found the right dr. After canceling my appointment 3 times in a row with 2 months in between the next appt., I will not go back to my prior eye drs.

Dr. Sforza is one of those drs who went into practice not as a business, but because he truly cares for his patients. As I waited (wait time was 1.5 hours before seeing the dr. on a Sunday), you could hear him with other clients. He was kind and patient with everyone.
