Fortunately I saw Dr. Nockels through a referral by Dr. Shea at Loyola. Of course I Googled him before my first visit and immediately discovered he practically wrote the book on spinal surgery. He and his staff were extremely attentive and I was not rushed out of the office nor did I feel I was just another patient on the assembly line. His expertise is so amazing I feel grateful that he would take a "minor" problem like my microdiscectomy when most of his surgeries are 8 hours or more in durati...
